Yorkshire 3 Peaks Charity Challenge Completed!

Members of the Naylor Wintersgill team have taken on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Charity Challenge to raise money to help One In A Million support children and young people living in disadvantaged communities in Bradford.

Going that extra mile for the charity on Saturday 25th June, Cameron, Stephen H and Morgan completed all 24.5 miles of the famous walking route on the day, with Cameron even smashing his own personal target by finishing in an impressive time of 7 hours and 31 minutes!  Team members Monica, Darren F and Louise also pushed themselves to the limit and completed two of the three peaks, with Monica already vowing she’ll be back next year to tackle all 3 – without the hindrance of this year’s thunderstorms taking hold at the end of the day!

Naylor Wintersgill have taken part in this event for the second year now, with the walk offering a fantastic team building experience for our colleagues. It provides a great chance for the team to get to know each other a little and also to meet new people in the local business community whilst fundraising for a fantastic local cause! We are extremely proud of all our team who put themselves forward for this epic challenge and really pushed themselves to the max, despite a very early start.

Enjoying a huge sense of personal achievement, our walkers would also like to thank the corporate events team at One In A Million for providing such great atmosphere of camaraderie, support and bags of encouragement on the day.

There’s still time to support us!

Collectively the event has so far raised just under £3,000 of the charity’s £5,000 target to support children who attend their community projects in disadvantaged communities of Bierley, Canterbury, Keighley, Manningham and Windhill.

There is still time to support our team and help us reach our Naylor Wintersgill fundraising target for One In A Million by visiting our Just Giving page here

On behalf of all our brave walkers, thank you for your support!
