Free Webinars – What you need to know about MTD for VAT

Making Tax Digital (MTD), the new digital tax legislation is currently mandatory for VAT-registered businesses with a taxable turnover above £85,000.  As outlined in our previous news article, from April 2022, MTD compliance will extend to most VAT registered businesses, regardless of turnover.

In order to meet HMRC’s requirements, eligible businesses will need to maintain records digitally and begin submitting VAT returns through compatible software in time for the deadline.

If affected by the changes ahead, it is extremely important that your business is prepared for digital records and MTD software as soon as possible.
