Naylor Wintersgill become a MINDFUL EMPLOYER
Naylor Wintersgill has signed up to the Charter for Employers who are Positive about Mental Health, as part of the MINDFUL EMPLOYER initiative.
Signing the Charter provides the team at Naylor Wintersgill with access to information and guidance from local agencies to enable us to raise awareness of mental health in the workplace and to give assistance to any of our employees who experience any form of mental health condition.
Head of HR at Naylor Wintersgill Claire Featherstone says, “As a firm we are committed to looking at ways in which we can promote an inclusive working environment for all our employees and one that supports good mental health. Being part of the initiative is just one of the ways in which can look to raise awareness of mental health across our organisation.
Being a MINDFUL EMPLOYER means that we are committed to working towards the principles established in the Charter and is a public statement of our desire to support the mental health of our team.”
Naylor Wintersgill have also chosen to support Mind in Bradford as our charity of the year and have a number of fundraising events and activities taking place throughout 2019 to raise funds for the independent mental health charity and raise awareness of their vital services and support which are available across the Bradford District.

Established in 2004, MINDFUL EMPLOYER is a UK wide initiative run by Devon Partnership NHS Trust. Providing employers with easier access to professional Workplace Mental Health training, information and support, the initiative aims to help empower employers to take a lead in supporting the mental wellbeing of their staff.
