Naylor Wintersgill Charity Conference 2022

Join our free half day charity conference on Tuesday 10th May 2022, 9AM until 12.30PM at Kala Sangham, Bradford City Centre; providing you with specialist knowledge from our speakers covering vital legal, accounting, tax and HR topics.

COVID-19 brought financial and other challenges for many charities, with the pandemic reshaping the environment in which organisations in the sector operate. Many experienced an increase in demand for their services, whilst at the same time having to pivot and adapt the ways in which they work and fundraise.

Through our involvement with a wide range of charity, social enterprise and not-for-profit clients, we are aware of the issues surrounding organisations in the third sector in the current climate. Therefore, as we adjust to what a post-pandemic world might look like for the sector, we are pleased to launch our inaugural charity conference in Yorkshire.

The free half day event has been designed to prepare you with the knowledge and tools for your ongoing success, with vital legal, accounting, tax, and HR updates and issues affecting the sector right now.

Headed up by our director and head of Audit Compliance and Ethics Alison Whalley, our panel of expert speakers will cover a variety of topics throughout the morning that are pertinent to the charity sector:

Legal - Clare Lawrence - Partner, Wrigleys Solicitors LLP

  • Charity governance - key points to note as we emerge from the pandemic
