Naylor Wintersgill opens office in Leeds’ financial quarter

Naylor Wintersgill has opened an office on Park Row in Leeds to support our continued growth across the region.

As the largest independent firm of chartered accountants in Bradford city centre, we are pleased to announce that we have secured an office at One Park Row within the UK’s largest centre for financial and business services outside of London.

Operating from our Carlton House office on Grammar School Street in Bradford, Naylor Wintersgill has been established for over 100 years and is lead by eight directors and has more than 50 employees. The second office in Leeds is planned as an additional base for our team and will offer increased flexibility for our clients.

Victoria Wainwright, the managing director who joined as the firm’s first apprentice in 1991 and has seen the team more than treble in employees, said: “Opening a second city centre office is all part of the Naylor Wintersgill evolution and complements our wider business strategy. We’re incredibly proud of our Bradford roots and our core team and our headquarters will remain at Carlton House.

“Having a base in Leeds – and in the city’s established financial quarter – allows us to offer our team even more opportunities in our neighbouring city and be better connected across the region, particularly with ongoing developments to rail travel. We’re thrilled to provide our team and clients with the additional location and look forward to embracing the Leeds city centre community as we have in our home city.”

Roger Marsh OBE, chair of the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) said: “I’m delighted to welcome Naylor Wintersgill’s expansion into Leeds, having built a thriving base in Bradford. It demonstrates the significant growth in our region’s business and professional services sector, which contributes £19.8billion to the national economy and employs over 300,000 people.”

Earlier this year, we have announced our team-selected charity of the year as mental health organisation, Mind in Bradford. Alongside fundraising efforts for the charity, our team has also committed to giving 200 volunteer hours to remote reading scheme TutorMate UK to help young students in Bradford improve their literacy outcomes.
