Raising the Bar Awards 2019 – we’ve been shortlisted!

Naylor Wintersgill has been shortlisted for the Community award at the Raising the Bar Awards 2019.

Raising the Bar, an initiative from the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce helps companies with their social responsibility aims and allows them to document and benchmark how they help local communities, education, the economy and the environment.

The community category of the awards recognises employers who have played a significant role in their local communities, providing jobs and opportunities to enhance the lives of those around them. This category looks to celebrate those who have gone beyond simply offering employment but who strive to support neighbourhoods and the people within them, genuinely wanting to make a difference and be part of their communities.

Naylor Wintersgill managing director Victoria Wainwright says, “Being shortlisted at the Raising the Bar awards is a fantastic opportunity for us to shout about all of the great things our team do every day - from our fundraising and support for local charities, volunteering our time to good causes such as the TutorMate online literacy programme to sharing our technical know-how and expertise with others in the community.”

The Naylor Wintersgill team will be attending the awards ceremony which is taking place on November 6th at the Leeds Civic Hall - good luck to all the organisations shortlisted at this year’s awards!
