The Restart Grant scheme – Action required; apply before 30 June 2021!

Restart grants to support eligible businesses in the Bradford district through what is hoped to be the final stages of lockdown must be applied for before 30 June 2021.

As outlined in our previous news article, eligible businesses in the non-essential retail, hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym sectors may be entitled to a one-off cash grant of up to £18,000 to help them re-open safely.

The business must also rely on offering mainly an ‘in-person’ service at the property where business rates are paid, be registered for business rates with Bradford Council and trading on 1 April 2021.

The latest update from Bradford Council confirms that most businesses who qualify have already been paid and so these businesses should not reapply.

Please visit the Bradford Council COVID-19 business grants page here to find out more about the Restart Grant including eligibility criteria and how much you may receive.
