Having started as the very first apprentice at Naylor Wintersgill over 25 years ago, Victoria became Managing Director of the firm in 2012.
She is dedicated to leading the team of over 60 at both our headquarters based in Bradford and our Leeds office at One Park Row to achieve sustainable growth whilst maintaining the culture and values that are integral to the success of the company.
Victoria manages a portfolio of mostly owner managed businesses and personal tax clients, ranging from small businesses to multi-million pound turnover companies and groups from a range of industry sectors.
With many years accounting and general practitioner experience having qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAEW) in the year 2000, she specialises in strategic and financial planning for small to medium owner managed businesses as well as being a Registered Auditor.
Throughout her career, Victoria has experienced much recognition of her success, having won several awards including the prestigious national “ICAEW New Accountant of the Year” by Accountancy Age in 1999 and “Inspirational Business Women of the Year” at the Bradford Inspirational Women Awards in 2013. From 2002 to 2004, she also took on a national role as ICAEW Council Member representing the interests of young Chartered Accountants.
At the Yorkshire Accountancy awards 2020, which recognises the achievements and successes of outstanding talent in the region, Victoria was also shortlisted for the ‘Managing Partner of the Year’ award.
As well as a busy day job, Victoria holds a number of Honorary and Board positions with business organisations, local charities and in the professional community. She also acts as a specialist advisor on a number of Boards.
Victoria is currently the President of the Bradford Chamber of Commerce as well being a Board Member of the West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and an Ambassador for Marie Curie Hospice, Bradford. She has also been a regular presenter on the Goldman Sachs 10k Small Businesses Programme coaching and advising SME owners on how to grow their business.
Whilst most of Vicky’s spare time is taken up with family life, there’s still a little space to enjoy theatre, running, walking, skiing and of course, shopping!
